According to the annual meeting of China machinery general parts industry association, the overall economic operation of general machinery parts industry in the first quarter of 2017, driven by the sound macroeconomic operation of the country, has become stronger than last year. On the other hand, the import and export of the industry also tend to be good, and there is positive growth. In the first quarter, the total output value of the industry was 80.4 billion yuan, up 3.7 percent year-on-year, and all the subsectors achieved positive growth. Total imports and exports of the industry were $7.595 billion, up 15.1 percent year-on-year. The total import volume of the industry was $4.74 billion, with a double-digit growth rate of 23.7% year on year. Fastener imports were $725 million, up 13.44 percent from a year earlier. Chain imports were $51 million, up 19.78 percent year-on-year. The total export volume of the industry was 2.855 billion usd, an increase of 3.07% year on year. Fastener exports were $1.045 billion, up 3.73 percent year on year. Chain exports were $278 million, up -3.20% year-over-year. According to the macro forecast of the development of the machinery industry, the economic operation in 2017 still needs to be cautious, although it starts well. Industrial enterprises should actively expand the market, improve the construction of technological core competitiveness and achieve stable development of industrial enterprises while making good production of current product orders and guaranteeing quality and delivery. |
